I watched my neighbours 3 year old Mercedes go up in smoke about 15 years ago. I was cleaning the bedroom windows and the lady had come home and parked in her driveway. Minutes later the car was a fireball. If there had been kids in the car, they’d have been goners.
Since then, I’ve never left my kids alone in a car. If it can happen to a 3 year old Merc, it can happen any time.
It’s heartbreaking to think this might have happened to this poor family.
That’s extremely sad. That poor family.
My husband passed a car up in flames on the hard shoulder of a motorway recently. The car was a newer version of his own and is known to have a fault.
Horrible news, hope it was accidental – so hard to know these days!
