Not only the Federal offices rewarding someone in cash for denouncing neighbors is highly improbable, but even if it was an actual thing, we would have known it from official sources by now. And at least from the usual shitty news outlets.

We are totally fucked in the future, people won’t recognise misinformation anymore (and probably already aren’t).
I would redact the number because this can only end up with the federal office for energy getting spammed with unwanted calls (which is probably the aim of that fake).
Multiple possibilities… it’s obviously fake though and the impersonation of a federal agency should be a crime punishable by all sorts of voting right privation and other treatment reserved for traitors and public dangers. It could be:
– Russian trolls who want to guilt western govs in some ways.
– The same conspiracy retards as for Covid who will try to tell people that climate protective measure and energy shortages measures are the new ways to control the people and shit.
– A very badly thought campaign made by climate activists, although this seems a bit unlileky given the style of the image.
– Someone else with other questionable motives…
That fake is probably not meant for Swiss citizen. The number with international prefix? No way, on a real billboard they would likely use a “0800” instead. Also the UVEK’s coordinates, to which that number belongs, are nowhere to be found on the ad.

It’s a proposal, resisted by many cantons and will have to go for a vote. Unlikely to pass.
