Hot tubs ‘running dry as households squeezed by rising living costs’

  1. > But nearly a quarter (23%) of those who no longer use their hot tub cited the running costs as being too high.

Not debating the cost of living crisis but 23% citing it as the reason they no longer use it indicates the majorty aren’t using it for other reasons e.g. they got bored of it, haven’t the time to use it (now that lockdowns seem to be over) etc.

  2. This is why I feel we need differential pricing. The more energy you use the more your unit price should rise. I can’t have people dying of cold and people using bathtubs paying the same rate for energy.

  3. Those hazy days of furlough eh? But of course things were different then, there was a good reason for the government to step in and support people, now its back to work, back to normal, everyone for themselves, right?

  4. And again, *another* ‘oh look, these people are so entitled that they’re complaining that they can’t afford to keep their wine chilles’ type articles.

Just remember to still be pissed at the Tories and not at these people, it’s all a distraction.
