Screw it. if that’s the conclusion to this, let them do it.

  2. Excellent, I hope they keep on fighting like rats in a sack right up to the next election.

    Which can’t come soon enough.

  3. The Tory party, always crashing in the same car.

She is the epitome of incompetence. The joke isn’t funny anymore.

Kudos if you know original artists.

I admit, I did *not* initially read that as ‘retread’

  5. Step one: easy…she will be gone by April. I have money on that

Step two: not so easy…his attempt to avoid a suspension and recall are now desperate. If truss suspects he’s still working against her, she won’t block it. Recalled and a humiliating defeat

Yeah, I think this is why so many Tories don’t want this rebellion happening. Doing this would just cause more division within the Party, which at a time when lots of people will be struggling to survive and NEED help from the government, will not be a good look for them at all and could lead to a new GE, which could have a strong chance of a defeat for the Tories, especially if Labour and the Lib Dems are able to join in a coalition with each other and create a tactical voting strategy where Labour focuses on the Red Wall seats up North and the Lib Dems focusing on the Blue Wall areas down South.

And this is something the Tories do not want because the main two scenarios would be:

    A) The Tories win but with a much smaller majority or need to rely on a coalition with a smaller party to form a government, like what happened in the 2017 election, meaning they lose their massive 80 seat majority which will affect how much legislation and policies they can pass (especially if some MPs in the Backbenches cause havoc for the PM and Ministers).

    B) An Opposition party or coalition like the hypothetical Labour/Lib Dem one I mentioned wins, taking the Tories out of power and allowing the new government to undo a lot of what the Tories did.

Both of these would not beneficial for the Tories. And while it would be beneficial for the country since a new government might mean people that might soon be struggling to survive can get the help they need, the Tories don’t seem to care too much about that considering their lack of aid these past few months so you can see why a new government that’s actually helping people scares them so much.

  7. Use Truss to get through the last remaining bits of civil responsibility as she doesn’t have the belligerent attitude of Johnson then the old switch-a-roo for endless mates rates on our earnings

  8. I know Truss is poor but is she really *that* poor that she could cause enough damage in a few months to make the public want Johnson back? She is inheriting Johnson’s political legacy, it will be all too easy for her to blame Johnson for what she has now got to fix. If this works then it really shows how little the public remember when it comes to politics.
