‘Not part of the mainstream’: Varadkar says SF Govt would diminish Ireland’s influence in Europe

  1. I’d worry about how SF would handle foreign policy and really worry about inward investment if they do lead the next government. Although I think Leo would be better served to start fixing the problems in this country which has caused SF to rise in the polls, than constantly attacking them. He has over 2 years to start.

  2. I look forward to a change in housing and health that Sinn Féin will hopefully bring, along with a couple other things. Their foreign and environmental policy though is disastrous.

  3. Of course the cnt would say that, the gov he is apart of has done fuck all, polls have for ages shown SF as preferred party and Mary-Lou as the preferred next Taoiseach.

  4. Well this is refreshing. They’ve moved on from blaming SF for stuff that happened in the past, to blaming them for hypotheticals in the future.

  5. Leo talking out his ass as usual. Damien English is the current minister for Enterprise and Employment, look at his CV, he’s completely unsuitable; a career politician is no good to the IDA etc, you need someone with a background in business.
