My lovely babcia made her amazing kotlet schabowy (pork chops)

  1. note that schabowy doesn’t necesserily need to be made with schab (pork)

  2. And she probably made enough to feed 8-12 people.

    That looks really good.

  3. If I will make this for my Canadian wife .. she will ask me to pour mushroom soup over it XD

  4. Ah sooo good, love having polish grandma make Sunday meals!!!

  5. We are going to be needing some dill for the potatoes and chrzan for the chop.

  6. The semi isometric view makes the kotlet look very thick, which is not a traditional schabowy (which is supposed to be very thin, yet not dry).

I don’t mean it doesn’t look delicious, though! It absolutely does.

  7. And the potatoes are not completely destroyed with koperek! I’m the only one in my family with that opinion, but I hate koperek on potatoes.

  8. Babcia’s food is always the best and made with love. Call or visit your babcia today!

  9. I never had a grandma but my aunt when I was younger made delicious food… I miss polish home-cooked meals 🙁

  10. Polish babcias on their way to make the best meal you ever had then do it again the next day:

  11. I was served this over a bed of sauerkraut made with bacon. It was tasty. Is the sauerkraut made with bacon a polish side dish?

  12. Wait a minute, You put this excellent dish on kafelki? Where is the table z obrusem?

  13. Its a fake

if Babcia would do that dinner you would also have koperek on these mashed ziemniaki and Mizeria or Kapusta zasmażana and Zsiadłe Mleko to drink
