I always wonder why are so many lights on in the first place. You can be driving down a deserted road at 3 am with all the lights on. Such a waste even if we didn’t have this crisis
Doesn’t sound too bad imho.
I was just thinking that so much energy would be saved if like every second streetlight was turned off. And all street lights in areas that have low traffic and no crossways.

I hate how roads ruin view of milky way and other dim objects on night sky
There’s ridiculously bright, flashing billboard (the small kind, luckily) about 50 meters from my bedroom window. I’d be very happy if we could tone down the lights a bit.
