My neighbours in Lausanne must have ran out of room in their fridge
Never seen this before?
Eeeeeh… Ever heard about our grandparents’ time where they didn’t have fridges ? Yes, every house from those days had a small window in the kitchen and a few shelves outside of the window. And yes, that’s the point of it.
Lol. I used to keep a storage box on my balcony and use it as an extra fridge during winter. Make the best out of the situation!
100% balkam guy
I thought this was about the fruit being eaten by birds.
I have a basket on my balcony table with fruits and veggies some extra space during cold months
Inbf. they freeze.
Well, in ussr people kept meat outside in a bag as it was -10 outside in winter
Today i tryed to cool a fanta this way, it froze solid
Everyone here uses their balcony as a fridge. New to Europe?
nothing unusual, except the part where it might actually be illegal if it’s over a street? Stuff might fall and kill someboy.
I mean
Depending on how cold, my Raclette cheese and accompaniment pickles etc always stay on the terrace ..
Last year I left a cast iron pot full of chili on my terrace. Two days later I had a solid block of chili xD free freezer!
That’s just the winter fridge.
C’est le frigo communal!
Russian winters are perfect refrigerators
That’s common
I put my pet bottles/fruits outside during winter 🙂
All my things like milk, choco drink, compote, etc. are on my balcony from maybe October until April. It’s just more convenient are it’s cold enough to keep things from spoiling.
Tipp if you have a balcony put out a Polystyrene box and put your things in there, should keep them from actually freezing but still keeps them cool if there is a stray sunray warming things up
