Surely if these companies are all that different and have different profit margins, they shouldn’t be all putting it up by near enough the same amount each time?

I’m with SSE electric and gas and just got the Notice of 35.4% increase in electric come 1st October , absolutely struggling as it is ;((
How many of these companies would still make profit without price hikes? Feels like they’re just trying to continue making the same level of profit and passing the cost onto us.

I just put in my meter reading and overestimated my usage for the summer period so I’m slight my hedging my winter fuel bill
Not a solution for everyone but if you can lock in lower pricing it’s worth it.
Energia is 100% renewable electricity. Surely that should not be affected by fluctuations in fossil fuels
