Don’t watch TV and only have mine for gaming, so I couldn’t care less.
Tbh, why would you pay a station to air your ads, if everyone is just skipping it.
The occasional as here and there isn’t an issue to me; but those greedy private stations that have 5min of ads per 10min of content can go fuck themselves and will be back on the no-watch-list after this takes effect.
Soon you’ll be forced to watch an ad before your key will work in the front door of your house/apartment.
This eliminates the main reason for me to have an expensive Swisscom or UPC TV subscription. I hope it will be possible to withdraw from my current contract.
I don‘t watch TV, but its not acceptable.. and few years later we have that on streaming platforms ..
Haven’t had a TV subscription for a few years now, but this is some bullshit.
This is getting ridiculous, but i don’t watch TV so won’t have to deal with that nonsense. Also good to know i won’t need to look into adding TV services to my upcoming internet fees as well
That’s why I only use the internet. Now if only it were possible to stop paying for that damn tax on TV / Radio.
That was inevitable, unfortunately, seeing from a advertisers perspective logical.
But I really don’t see a reason to pay Serafe and cable wprovider that much money if I still have to endure ads all the time. I would even be okay with small doses here and there. But we all know, like youtube ads, it starts with supershort ads and increase from there.
Please, TV channels, go down that road and complain later, when the majority of todays viewers have died, that everyone else switched away.
I don’t really watch TV anymore because while they bring good movies you have to endure 25-30 min advertising blocks, for the roughly same amount of movie time.
And now they are going the YouTube route with unskipabble ads!
If this is a clever ploy to make people watch less TV it is going to work well
I haven’t been watching TV in years and have no need for replay either. May they choke on their ad money.
It’s telling that pretty much all the commenters here say they don’t watch TV already. There are good reasons for it. Seems like they try to counter the lost revenue due to people not watching TV with making the experience even worse. What a great plan. I didn’t have a TV subscription for years and I don’t see a reason to change.

[Good luck, seems they want to amplify the downwards trend…](https://www.bfs.admin.ch/bfs/de/home/statistiken/kultur-medien-informationsgesellschaft-sport/medien/medienangebot-nutzung/fernsehen/fernsehnutzung.html)
