I haven’t seen mention of this here, so I’d bring attention to it. My mum found two dead gannets this morning on the beach, and it seems they are one of the species that has been hit particularly bad by Avian flu. Very sad.
Assuming nothing can be unfortunately done at this stage for wild birds? Literally run its course?
Should we expect a massive chicken/ egg shortage as i can’t see it not spreading in next 6 months/ year?
Bird flu was the Sars 1 for which Sars 2 (coronavirus/covid19) was the sequel so it’s a lot of fun when there’s so much outbreaks because you are basically holding a stick of dynamite like Wile-e Coyote and you don’t know how long the fuse is.
