rich people’s problems

  1. Posts on here be like:

“My neighbour took a shower at 22:01 h. Should I call the police or can I claim self defense if I shoot them?”

  2. While I see the point of this meme (and it’s a good point to make at that) I always dislike the notion that your problems aren’t as serious only because you live in a “rich country”. Thinking this way, even though somewhat reletable, will eventually be harmful. Not only will your current problems not disappear, you will even feel worse because “others have it harder”. Thus essentially making your “first world problems” not justified even though they (most of the times) are.

Sure, our problems aren’t of existenstial nature, but they are real and serious nonetheless.

  3. I’m a German working in Switzerland … and Switzerland already spoiled me beyond belief: my day is ruined when some friend or relative sends me Milka chocolate as a gift … after 2 years of Swiss chocolate I can’t eat German chocolate anymore … the Swiss are – without any doubt – the absolute masters of chocolate

  4. Memes aside, you dont have to be miserable to complain or to want to improve. geo-location is irrelevant. You dont choose who youre born or to whom. You have no reason to apologize or feel bad because the rest of the world can be a shithole at times. The only thing thats worth any of your attention is self improvement, then your family, then your neighbors, then your commune, the your canton, then switz, and everyone else can go f themselves.

  5. The train is 4 minutes late because there was a giant hole in the train tracks? SBB is literally the worst railway company in the world.

  6. Came from post soviet country to Switzerland for a while. Had to handle a very depressed person who is getting highest degree in medicine and has a nice family house with pool and a car and was so depressed that made my other half often times upset or scared cause of suicidal talk and how he will never find love. My reaction to that was soo so angry cause like cmon. I’ve faced much less than common people at my home country. Switzerland doesn’t have people sleeping on the streets begging in winter. People would have some kind of a roof and financial help and families are taken care of. Kids have a decent childhood with things I could have only imagined in dreams. And have a good healthcare on top tier unlike where I come from where most people don’t even go to see doc until they have to and it’s too late. So to not be taken seriously by the couple Swiss people I met I just lost any wanting to listen to peoples problems. Like people do have them but it’s not so terrible or terrifying that you get on streets or be scared to go outside. Others and community is awesome here and I’m definitely in a great mindset of Switzerland because it is so amazing and beautiful. And problems are valid but for anyone reading this, don’t let anyones terrible or small pity problems make you feel less amazing ❤️❤️
