Highway looks very Belgian to me.. My experience knows this is a common occurrence on 2-lane highways over here.
Truckdrivers and not following road rules. Name a more iconic duo.
kinda respect it a bit. it is the most frustating thing on the highway. but i wouldn’t risk my own life or car for it. just chill and listen to some music.

Also I feel like everyone’s has fingers stuck in their asses when it comes to use their turn signals
E40 from Jabbeke to De Panne is a 2 lane road. It also was illegal for trucks to pass other trucks.
But they changed it a year or two ago … And now this is constantly a thing you see. Very annoying
If its okay that the trucks own every single lane of the highway on every random moments, it’s also okay they get a brakecheck now and then.
It’s good to keep them awake and on their toes. If they be owning the fast lane now as well they better stay focused and bring their A game.
We the “common pleb car folk” are here all day to provide this service. Free of charge. We don’t have anything better to do anyway driving behind all those trucks perpetually overtaking each other in the race of their lives.

Ergste vanal, uiteindelijk rijdt die pannekoek nog maar 5 meter verderop nadat de vrachtwagen klaar is met inhalen. Dus wat heeft die gewonnen?
I do nog agree with this cars action…but come on man look at these trucks the overtake would have taken at least 1-2 minutes you’re holding up traffic for no other reason than being slightly in for of someone.
I’ve had occasions were overtaking trucks spend 10 ficking minutes next to each other because the other one wouldn’t give way for the other, probably an ego thing.
I have always wondered: if a lorry overtakes another lorry, would it arrive that much sooner on it’s destination? My guess is 1 minute per lorry overtaken :’)
This is the absolute worst mentality possible and i sincerely hope he/she one day gets an accident (without grave injury) and has to cough up all the costs.
Being THAT impatient that you seriously cannot wait a couple of seconds to accelerate marginally faster so you reach you destination 1 second earlier, do you start doing illegal, dangerous manouevers and start harassing other drivers really is beyond me…
That he really has the audacity to brake check the left truck almost causing an accident in order to ‘teach him’ not to overtake someone?? Where does he have the nerve to think he owns the road and should decide how others need to bow for him.
Driving really brings out the worst in people
On most Belgian 2×2 highways trucks are prohibited from overtaking during the daytime. In that regard, this truck driver made a fault.
**However** this (or anthing else) does not justify
* overtaking from the right (second degree traffic offense)
* driving on the shoulder (pechstrook) (third degree traffic offense)
* brake checking. (aggression = fourth degree traffic offense, automatic court date).
I hope whoever recorded this turned over the footage to the police so this asshole had to face the music before a police judge.
If we post this whenever it happens, we would overflood Reddit with it xD
I think i notice that happening like 2-3 times a week minimum. I dont mind when they move over on an on ramp, that’s perfectly normal. But overtaking ye, I wish the cops would write more for it, instead of always checking for speed
