Actually true all of these, but what shocked me was traveling around the world where most of these things dont occure. (Im Norwegian)
Eh – I mean I don’t get paid to recycle, I get a small percentage of what I paid back to bring the bottles to the bottle bank. It’s also not any bottle with liquid – just bottles of liquid that you usually consume. Who is this list supposed to shock exactly?
> 5) Cars actually stop for pedestrians
> 6) Stores are usually closed on Sundays
Not shocking if you have lived/ visited any decent European country.
I’m an American who moved to Norway in 2017 & myself and other Americans I’ve met here are absolutely shocked by these for sure 😂
I remember the first time I saw a baby in a stroller outside of Starbucks alone in the middle of January. I was so worried and upset that I went inside to ask about it. Even after being assured that this was normal, it felt really not ok to me & I had a lot of guilt just letting it go. 5 years later I don’t really even notice it anymore but I know if I ever have a baby I won’t be leaving them alone in a stroller at any time of year 😅
