FA says Hooters of Nottingham cannot sponsor under-10s football team

  1. Not saying it’s a good choice, but several teams including my team Aston Villa have fake Chinese websites on their shirts linked to illegal gambling in the Far East. Is that worse than a chicken bar that hires women with big knockers?

  2. Haha like they will be bothered, its been a great bit of free PR for them and the press have taken it hook, line and sinker.

Bravo to whoever thought of it in the marketing department!

  3. I don’t really see how they can argue this to be honest.

For all intents and purposes they’re clearly legally considered a legitimate restaurant chain, they aren’t considered an “adult” store so they’ll surely have to provide a strong argument to ban a restaurant from sponsoring an under-10s football team, it seems like the only real argument they have under the rules listed in the article is that Hooters serve alcohol but that’s not their primary or exclusive purpose like the rule listed states.
