Their business is spreading unfortunately

  1. I’m not sure how you connected a new store with immigration? Do they sell slaves or what do you think is the problem?

  2. This sort of thing makes immigrants feel extremely unwelcome, especially in smaller towns (saying this as a half-Finn who moved here later on in my childhood who was bullied for existing here).

I’d just really like to see Kärkkäinen’s business fail and his grip on the Finnish online shopping industry faded, sorry xD

  3. i imagine it is something race related, haven’t really found much by searching, so could someone explain me what is this about?

  4. It is weird how their business keeps expanding. Like people don’t seem to give a shit about the values of the people behind the business. I have never visited Kärkkäinen so I don’t know if their prizes are super low or the selection of things is amazing. But I’d imagine you could get the same stuff from Motonet or Biltema or Halpa-Halli at not-much-higher prize.

  5. This is infuriating, especially as there isn’t a lot of competition among general stores in Finland. I have a Tokmanni close by, but if they don’t have some product I need, my options are giving my money to the silly nazi who runs Kärkkäinen or the space billionaire who runs Amazon.

  6. I visited the one in Lahti put of curiosity, it’s huge and has a huge selection of all sorts of stuff you can’t find in other stores. The stuff they sell doesn’t look that good quality wise.

  7. They have some great stuff for sale. A much much wider variety of items than many other online stores in finland.
People support all kinds of fcked up things nowadays but buying from kärkkäinen does not make you a nazi. I just dont wanna pay a crapload more from other stores if i cant afford it.

Thats not to say kärkkäinen is ALWAYS the cheapest, check all stores that you find to make life easier for your wallet 👍

  8. Kärkkäinen is a good store if you don’t care about the owner’s political views. It’s a huge employer in Finland so I can’t see anything wrong with their expansion.

  9. Some antivaxxers specifically buy stuff from Kärkkäinen. The success demonstrates that people just don’t care if they’re not personally targeted. Antisemitism and racism are rooted in ignorance, after all.

  10. We (my friends) never go there. Every once in a while someone goes and takes selfie in front of one and everybody makes fun of their nazi choices.

Another one you just don’t go is Jari-Pekka. For different reasons though.

  11. There is nothing unfortunate. Their selection is exellent and the prices are not bad either. I’m waiting anxiously when Kärkkäinen starts their business in North Finland.

  12. Ei vaikuta mun päätöksiin mitä omistaja touhuaa.

Still going to use that store bc idc what the store owner does i get from there something i need then i buy it
