Edit: as pointed out below, not exactly about bureaucracy, but I guess titles are immutable

[On the topic of Agricultural-PV systems.](https://www.srf.ch/news/schweiz/agrophotovoltaik-solaranlagen-auf-ackerland-der-bund-bremst)

“Das Bundesamt für Energie hält dagegen: «Wir haben im Moment einen Rekord-Zubau bei der Solarenergie», so Frank Rutschmann vom BFE. Ackerflächen zu belegen, sei nicht nötig.”

“The Swiss Federal Office of Energy counters: “At the moment, we have a record increase in solar energy,” says Frank Rutschmann of the SFOE. There is no need to occupy arable land.”

It may be not needed but can still be highly beneficial, also with regards to droughts and heatwaves during summer!
But some people just don’t think past their own beard tip…

  1. I’m so tired of the word “bureaucracy” being used to mean “something I don’t like”. Arable land is disappearing quickly in Switzerland. *We had a referendum about it* to prevent sprawl. This is the very opposite of “bureaucracy”.

There is plenty of space on constructions and roads to put solar panels.

  2. Yeah, let’s react to the fuel price crisis by removing some agricultural land quicker …

    Good idea buddy !

  3. So with that it should be clear for anyone, that this whole „energy crisis“ is on purpose. Once there is a solution the get rid of (at least parts of) gas or oil to produce electricity, bureaucracy makes it almost impossible to implement it.
