  1. This is the fun bit where I don’t check my ticket, then they slowly start to give clues “they bought it from the Cambridge area”, “the unclaimed ticket was bought Thursday afternoon”…it just keeps the drama going as many folk claim they misplaced their ticket but remembered all the numbers.

Keeps it exciting until you do scan to reveal you won 2.30 again 🙁

  2. I’ve just got up from my comfy chair, walked to my handbag and checked my ticket. I just got uncomfortable for nothing!

  3. I read this, checked my email, saw I had “news about your ticket”, I’d won £3.60.

Biggest disappointment since I discovered what laser eye surgery really meant

  4. In a way I feel sorry for them. That kind of money could poison their life and the relationships with the people around them. They will have to be very strong to guard against telling many people and to manage who knows. I wince when I see people go public 🙁
Best of luck to them, although they have already had that it would seem, and I hope it brings them some happiness.

  5. Love getting the email saying about a ticket. Then I just leave it for a few days thinking of all the stuff I’m going to buy with my millions.

The joy is in the excitement of thinking there is a chance I’ve won. Worth the £2.50

  6. Good. It’s going up to £108M again on Friday, would have been a bit cheeky if they didn’t have to pay out a big prize twice.

  7. based on how much I have been spending trying to win these smashing jackpots every month I wouldnt be surprised if they got so much to make us all millionaires eventually.. wait.. or is that inflation?

  8. I don’t play the lottery but it makes me mad that one person can win £110m! With the current cost of living situation I would rather have 11,000 people win £10K. No one needs £110m.
