Is it odd how I can tell they are very accurate but yet slightly off and unnatural at the same time
Everything is meme
This shit is like many years old. Probably even pre-Covid shit. Why resurface it now?
I live within 10 minutes of that type of grim reality cosplaying as “freedom.”

They have Karen, we have Grażyna
As a US Midwesterner, this sight is not uncommon and my state is apparently the country’s meth capital. Thank God my town is mostly fine. Additionally, given the fact that America has only been at peace for 18ish years since our inception, I think being memes is a win in our book.

As an American, yes. It’s been a meme for quite some time now.
Unfortunately reddit doesn’t like fb links so you’re gonna have to remove that space yourself.
No. But judging by the photos they may be from Porn.
This is hysterical! I saw this a few weeks ago with more photos and laughed my ass off.
It Always have been
not a meme, but a joke it always has been.
I’m a Polish person living in the USA and have seen all the photos from that event and they are spot on, no exaggeration. They have a Facebook group where you can view all the photos.

For context, the LARP itself is actually about marginalized American people and a de-construction of the ‘American Dream’ mythos, and an exploration of community, poverty, police brutality, extreme patriotism in the face of the country that treats you like shit, the way America celebrates and mythologises immigration but only of the *correct* (WASP) kind, etc.
It’s not meant to be a mockery, more of an exploration of people who are often invisible, rather than you bog-standard middle-class, picket-fence suburban family, or a trendy urban hipster type of American you most often see represented.

I don’t know, but the last one (redhead lady) reminds me of Meredith from “The Office”.
