Some women in Germany is telling the story, that Poland are turning of their Lights and Water from 6-11 PM. Have I missed something or is she just doing propaganda against us?

  4. Not true. I am contacting people from all over the Poland and traveling a lot in business purposes. Nothing like this is happening here. All works normal. Maybe it is a kind of russian propaganda to fear Germany. We have such a trolling stories regarding Ukrainians stilling Polish husbands, places in hospitals and jobs… I is always like: know somebody who knows somebody… 😉

  5. The person in the tweet is compering situation in Poland to the one in Germany, not bashing Poland (saying it’s the same “hysteria” in Poland as it is in Germany).     It’s true that due to energy prices and inflation many municipalities in Poland are switching off street lighting, tourist attractions illuminations at night (so 11pm to 6am makes more sense, rather than 6 till 11pm as per the tweet which is probably a mistake) and withdrawing free school buses.

  17. Many people in Germany believe that brownbears walk the streets of Warszawa. And that airplanes are piloted drunk and stuff. It can be really annoying with these kind of people 🙂 If you tell them that poland has a far better banking system or mobile internet they’ll tell you that you shouldn’t believe everything they write on the internet.

    But as a matter of fact: covid hysteria is very bad in germany 🙁 It really sucks, even in city like Berlin it sucks during covid

  34. Not really. They tried to save electricity in my town by turning the street lights off, but a car accident happened due to this and they stopped doing this.
