This whole Index thing as well as tax classes should be reworked because it’s an absolute mess!
Imo the index is pretty unbalanced and unfair. Everyone gets a, let’s say, 2,5% raise in their salary. Those who earn 10K a month will get a bigger piece than those earning 1K a month. The % should adapt to the pay check. The people earning massive salaries should receive a small % or none at all while the people earning the minimum wage or lower should get a bigger %.
Of course this will only work if the tax classes get reworked as well because as soon as you earn more you change to another tax class and end up paying more which makes the pay raises by the index absolutely useless!
