I fail to see a problem here, Norway’s oil producing companies offered the EU long term contracts before the Russian fuckery, which EU declined since it was not in their best interest to have fixed price contracts. Now that there is a shortage, the market mechanics they praise is no longer a good thing?
Also there may be a problem with the EEC agreements to subsidize foreign companies with cheaper gas, since the EEC courts ruled that it was against the EEC agreement to subsidize the price of electricity to Norwegian companies.
