  1. Tax breaks for landlords then! Joking but not really because there is going to be tax breaks for landlords, which is ridiculous considering the large numbers of rentals being added each year.

So what if one property landlords are leaving the market, they’re not bulldozing them and if landlording was so bad they’d have left years ago. How many 1 property landlords left the market v how many rental properties came to the market?

But this budget the businesses are going to get bailed out yet again, after having gotten big money during covid. Maybe these businesses just aren’t viable and should cease trading. I’m expecting the wage subsidy scheme to make a return. Free cheap labour for businesses.

  2. This is very indicative on what government expects to happen next year. after prolonged inflation people will not have money to spend and businesses will closing and firing.

  3. Brace yourselves for RECESSION!!!! Anyone old enough to remember the post 2008 Ireland. It seemed like it was dark and damp in the post years. I wonder will austerity measures be put in place for this one? Considering we are up to our tits in national debt post covid crisis
