stupidly thought it was a 6 ltr at first ,a 6 cylinder 3ltr it turned out to be that does 35 MPG in town !! some job keeping that filled up

  2. To be fair the whole world went that way didn’t they? I mean if you look at cars from the eighties and now the kerb weight difference is astonishing alone. 1700kg of metal to move 100kg of human.

  3. It says “60”, it’s just a number. If you think BMW or Mercedes model numbers mean anything in relation to engine size you’re also mistaken.

    35 mpg sounds pretty good for an engine and car of that size. 20 years ago there were plenty of 4 cylinder 1.6-2.0 litre petrols that would struggle to do that. My ’98 Fiesta 1.3 struggled to do that. There are many reasons as to why one would not want a diesel.
