I’m from Norway and for all I know, everyone in Finland knows everything about this from before. But I thought since I’m playing the game and I’m a member of the Finland subreddit, I’d post about it in case it’s not something everyone is aware of.
Baba Is You is an award winning puzzle video game created by Finnish indie developer Arvi Teikari.I am currently playing this on Nintendo Switch, but apparantly it’s on PC aswell. And I gotta say it’s the most creative and innovative puzzle game I have EVER tried. The intelligence behind this design is very impressive. Recommend to all that likes mind-bending puzzles, cause this is not like anything I have ever seen!
If you don’t know about it, check out this video from 01.00 to 02.50, cause the actual trailer was too diffuse and did not do the game justice at all IMO.

Never heard of it but looks really cool!
I have played this at a friend’s once, but kind of forgot about it, so thank you for the reminder! I also did not know it’s a Finnish game.
I can absolutely guarantee the vast majority of the Finnish population will not know about an indie puzzle game lol.
I might be mistaken but the guy who made it is part of the team who built Noita too
Awesome, have to try it!
Oh, I didn’t know the game is Finnish! Well damn.
Never heard of it, but the idea is neat. Might give it a try.
Wait baba is finnish?? I had no idea lol
This looks so cool! Thanks for sharing it!
This game has been on my radar for ages. I really should try it at some point, as I keep hearing only good things about it. Thanks for the reminder.
Speaking of Finnish indie puzzlers, The Swapper is another one I can recommend:

It’s not as clever or unique as Baba Is You, but the puzzles are still very fun, and the mechanics are meaningfully tied to the underlying themes. The visual style and atmosphere are great.
Baba is win.
Thanks for the recommendation, I had not heard about this game before either and was conveniently just looking for a new puzzle game to start for the dark December nights!
