Does anyone know why these military transport planes are flying low behind one another. They belong to different countries ( Poland, UK, Italy, the Netherlands, USA, Belgium,…)

  1. This is part of the exercise Falcon Leap 2022!
A 2 week exercise mainly in the Netherlands to remember Operation Market Garden from WW2.
Today’s para drops are on the Hechtelse Heide near Hechtel-Eksel/Leopoldsburg.

  2. They are flying 2-300 meters above my house (Keerbergen) the past couple of months. Scares me every time.

  3. Last monday i saw one flying over Brasschaat really low and wondered why. We have a military airfield here but too small for such a plane.

  4. Not sure WHY but isnt Kleine Brogel somewhere pretty close to where they are on that map? That would be why they’re so low, I guess? Landing or taking off?

  5. It’ll be the dry run for the aircover for the royal funeral in London (with 100+ heads of state present).

  6. Reminder, everyone- – really not a great idea to talk about troop movements or activities. Published stuff is one thing, but please refrain from listing places and types of aircrafts

  7. NATO Operation ‘Falcon Leap 2022’

On Saturday there is abig Paradrop at Ginkelse Heath, Ede NL.
    78 years Commemoration Market Garden.

At 1250L and 1450L there were paradrops.

  8. this is so funny to see this as they fly past my school building, we get a good look at them all the time looking through the window!

  9. Hey, that’s right above where I live!

Probably some NATO exercise or “secret” military delivery to Poland -> Ukraine (:

Edit: my friend is a paratrooper, and I remember him posting a photo of a mass parachuting exercise this week. So could be that as well!
