This fictitious man has just inherited a £750,000 fictitious property. I wouldn’t feel too fictitiously sad for him.
Well you wouldn’t want him to have to let a hundred of his household staff go.
Tax is like age of consent. Disregarding them are only a crime for the plebes.
And to think people actually care about them when they do not give a fuck about you
Why do people upvote Newsthump? There’s nothing clever about this, it’s just stating the problem plainly and boringly.
This is getting stupid now
Watching BBC news : looks like a ton of cultists bowing to their messiah. Don’t any of these nutcases have jobs ffs???
No inheritance tax. Exempt from these fucking stupid green energy rules.
And you lot still wank off over this bullshit privileged unelected bunch of cretins.
I know someone whose Mother died, the only thing she had to pass on was an ordinary 2 up 2 down terrace house in Hackney which because of the crazy London house price bubble since buying it in the 80s, was worth a million quid.
This girl and her bro are now paying 20 g a year, every year to inheritance tax just to keep the house which they live in.
How is it fair the multimillionaire king is getting away with this??
Is it just me or there is some confusion around monarchs and elected officials these days?
Even if Charles did pay it would still simply be tax payers money, they don’t have their own money, only what they steal.
It makes no sense for the personal embodiment of the state to pay tax to the state.
This would be absolutely ripped to shreds if this was a right wing article inventing such bullshit.
Can anyone confirm if it’s true you can avoid inheritance tax on property if you’re on the deed for a certain amount of years?
Serious question ; William is now prince of Wales but it comes with a massive £1 billion estate, will he pay inheritance taxes ?
Newsthump manatees get to rest early today as only balls relating to the royals are put in the tank.
Is this ‘news’ agency a copy of The Onion or is it in reverse?

You’re a young person and got your first job, you get taxed out the arse from your first check, then you have Goods tax, service tax, Council tax, VAT what ever you get TAXED every stage of your measly little existence, you save up enough money from what was left to then get a home, guess what more taxes before that point, you later die and BOOM more taxes, only this one is the joy for whom going to inheritance your crap you were TAXED on.
If they could, you know they would fucking tax you on putting money in a savings account and then tax you when you take it out again.
>Man struggling to pay inheritance tax
No one struggles to pay inheritance tax. Inheritance is a gift, not a right. People need to remember this.
Anyone who knows anything about inheritance tax knows that if you’re paying it, you were just given a lot of money. At least £325,000, potentially £650,000. Shit that the royals don’t have to pay it, but this isn’t the guy I’d feel bad for.
So this house that he inherited, how much of that did he pay for?
None?
Oh. Aaaah well.
Tax the rich
He could have had it in trust. Nothing stoping him, except being uneducated in the matter.
Inheritence Tax was exempt for Queen and now King Charles to protect their assets which are historical state artifacts and artwork that the Royal family curate on behalf of UK.
In return, the Queen has been paying voluntary taxes since the exemption back in the early 90s.
This (funny ;)) satirical piece stemming from a tabloid/Murdoch narrative made up by the British Republican lobbying group as a means to undermine our constitution for privatisation.
Just like the BS about Charles having over “100 butlers” *(staff)* at the Kensington Palace when prince.
Well, it’s a palace. A f-ing huge palace. Not all the staff are full time. And the Queen had 400 staff at Buckingham Palace, an even more bigger property.
None of the Royals get any say in resources or taxes.
And fyi? Buckingham Palace is dilapidated. It’s full of rats and the plumbing is knackered so there is no heating. And Charles HAS to reside there, if that makes you happy.
Stay away from Facebook.
Can you circumvent inheritance tax by simply giving your assets/wealth to the person while you’re still alive?
Inheritance tax = bs. They need to remove this oppressive tax forever
I don’t get it, I didn’t think you got given an inheritance tax “bill”, it was just taken off your inheritance? Also this outrage about Charles I don’t quite get as it is not like he personally inherits Balmoral to do what he likes with, sell on and profit from, it will get passed on again.
The fictitious man should have had his fictitious parents put the property in a trust…of course the trust would have to pay taxes every year…
