4. Turk here, been to Xios, and let me share a short story.

   While we got around in the Pyrgi, my mom and a Greek auntie sit together, they couldn’t communicate since they didn’t have a common language to speak but both started laughing. She was an old lady, gave a hug to my mom, offered us a glass of wine and meat as it was the easter time. My mom gave her “blue eye – nazar boncugu” bracelet to her to make sure she remembers us, too.

   Later her daughter came and we both helped our parents to talk, talk about our shit tons of similarities.

   They were not the people who enforced young Greek soldiers to invade another country for their own imperial wealth and we were not the people who had dreams of occupying their land.

   History, murders, crimes, deportations, exchanges, left homes, lost friendships…

   All to feed imperial monsters.

   Maybe one day, both sides of the Aegean sea understands the mistakes we both did and draw a line to start a good cooperation for a better future.

   I know I am day dreaming, but that’s not an impossible dream 🙂

5. What is this ? Is this Greek-Turkish propaganda forum or what ? Mods do your job , everyday we are fed up with constant propaganda from both sides. There is literally agenda pushing every single day
