wonder how much that mother has dropped on therapy for that kid since
That’s the problem with kids these days, can’t appreciate a good old story about pirates
Is this how redditors act in real life?
Somehow I’m not surprised.
Christ, that’s a day for being inside at home and not having to work from home, just relax with the heat on, a cuppa and doze on the couch watching some easy watching old Christmas film, maybe It’s a Wonderful Life turned down low. Pity I have to work from home though, but on the upside, at least I didn’t have to go out in that to go to work this morning.
“you’re a pirate, harry” – Hagrid, probably
Well at least I kind of get a mention, so I’ll bask in this glory regardless.
I really respect the fact they went back to edit the comment just to tell /r/bestof to go fuck themselves
My comments is tremendous and I say that “To Be Sure, To Be Sure”
Oh god this sub gives me serious laughs sometimes.
If I ever find myself in the unfortunate case that I’m an uncle to some kid, I will be exactly like this guy. Not out of malice, but because I have no freakin’ idea how to speak to kids
“Tell me again about the pirates, Uncle”
That was hilarious.
That was beautiful
I told a workmate how my unnaturally pale nephew had become obsessed with death and I’d had to sit him down and explain to him what goths were and why he shouldn’t turn into one.
She asked me why I’d told him about death, like that was part of the story. A special kind of stupid you only get from people you are thrown together with and wouldn’t really care to meet otherwise, like in a car crash, or a package holiday.
“do you do kids parties? ” lmfao!
This person has no soul, it can only mean one thing.
This has been a horrible insight into the experience of not using dark mode

That’s a great story
It’s not the the worst story, but I prefer the yank and the snickers bar
