The Weird Way Norway Used To Translate Movie Titles

  1. Also when using English titles we often used the UK localization rater than the original American title “Miss congeniality” -> “Miss undercover” “The Prophecy” -> “God’s Army” for added confusion.

  2. Speaking of movies, this guy has the most spot on example of a Norwegian accent I’ve ever encountered. Hollywood should take notice, as what they usually come up with for a Norwegian accent is just weird.

  3. LOLLLL is this really true??? 🤣 This is too good.

“Help! We smoked too much weed!” – Half Baked
“Help! We’re teenagers!” – The Breakfast Club
“Help! We’re all confused!” – Tenet
“Help! A bear!” – The Revenant

  4. Favorite Norwegian subtitle tho…can’t remember what movie. But someone said “go to hell” Norwegian subtitle came out as “dra til Moss” 😂😂
Know I nothing about Moss, but according to the translater i guess it ain’t nice 😂
