# What is this ?
We are a bunch of Indian Guys here in Magdeburg studying Data Science. One of my friends captured the ***(often underrated) beauty*** of this wonderful place. In his words, this project

>Magdeburg, the capital city of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, is one of the most important cities of medieval Europe. Situated at a natural crossroads on the Elbe, this beautiful city features wide boulevards and historic Gothic buildings such as the Cathedral, along with some post-modern landmarks such as Hundertwasser’s Green Citadel. Throughout its colorful history, Magdeburg has been subjected to devastation and destruction. Though much of the city was destroyed during World War II, beautiful cathedrals and monasteries remain, for which the Magdeburg is famous. The present video showcases the beauty of Magdeburg in all four seasons of a year in a day. As the time passes, the video progresses from the Gloomy Winter Early Mornings to Pleasant Spring Sunrises to Sunny Summer Afternoons to Autumn Evenings. – Zuckolli

Ah, my old home town. Lived there most of my life. I am old enough to have witnessed its transformation after the reunification. I lived in different parts of the city, before I left it. Each had a different vibe to it. It’s always just a short trip to the next park or green area or down to the Elbe river.

I have to ask this:
Did your friend make sure he had permission to fly his drone over private properties and in the city centre? And was he careful to avoid flying over federal roads, federal waterways, nature reserves and other restricted zones?
