Yea I dunno about shady, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with digitec over the past 5 or 6 years.
Seeing as it’s the Black Friday weekend, I’m guessing they’re expecting a ton of extra server traffic, so they’re streamlining the site.
Black friday creates a huge load on digitec’s server.
They have a history of few server crashes and downtime due to the amount of ppl wanting to buy stuff.
I think it’s to increase performance and make the whole thing more lighter to handle server wise.
it’s still better than mobilezone.
They display products as on stock, and next day delivery; but they don’t actually have stock and don’t know when they will get stock.
And it’s definitely intentional, because they are showing the exact locations where they are supposed to have them in-store, but they don’t actually have them when called.
They also take forever to cancel the orders, so they are keeping my money hostage. Great..
