I’m helping my father-in-law and his sisters track down a lullaby that their Norwegian dad used to sing to them as a child.
Thanks to the friendly folks on r/Norway, I learned that the song might actually be Swedish and it’s likely called “Tulleri lull.”
I found [this recording](https://m.soundcloud.com/nadine-boke/tulleri-lull) and it sounds similar to what my father-in-law remembers. Would someone mind transcribing and translating it (in English)?

I think Vallåt might be the actual name for it!
Though “vallåt” (pronounced like vall-låt in swedish), is a type of herding call that was used to call for cattle, also see ‘kulning’.
I only found other sung versions like Kaunan – Vallåt on youtube, but seems to be the same.
