They are asking for 3 things which are from my point of view **pretty reasonable** in face of the climate change situation:
(1) Governments must tell the truth by declaring a climate and ecological emergency, working with other institutions to communicate the urgency for change.
(2) Governments must act now to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2025.
(3) Governments must create, and be led by the decisions of, a citizens’ assembly on climate and ecological justice.
Radical environmentalists

Reading these comments here and knowing that reddit has a bias towards progressives and left leaning people, paints a sad picture of switzerland.

Morons that are giving themselves a good conscience by barking up the wrong tree about big principles that (1) they don’t apply to themselves, (2) they wouldn’t dare to utter in places where it could potentially trigger a change and (3) this while believing that the cause they’re defending justifies a whole range of illegal activities such as unauthorized protests, damage to property, vandalism, shoplifting, and many others.
