raz tam byłam z wycieczką z obozu i jakiś dzieciak zobaczył pstrąga, wrzasnął że jesiotr, po czym całe 250+ osób zebranych (wycieczki i turyści) zaczęli powtarzać i ekscytować się że o kurwa jesiotr. wyśmiewali mnie jak spróbowałam przedrzeć się że to kurwa pstrąg. zawsze morskie oko będzie mi się tylko z tym kojarzyć 💀
I visited that place many times as a kid, i remember that even touching the water was frowned upon, went there with my HS friends in 2016 and people were taking their shoes off and were walking in the lake, some woman even allowed her daughter to bathe in it as if it was a paddling pool, F

i can easily say that the tatras are the most beautiful place in poland, and one of the best in europe
Absolutely beautiful part of the world. Highlight of my trip to Poland in 2019. We hiked up there quite late thinking we’d ride one of the horse carriages back down, but missed the last one so had to hurry back down the trail (7 miles in about 45 mins if I remember right) to catch the last bus back to Zakopane (lots of fun walking through the woods in the dark with my girlfriend telling me stories about Baba Jaga). At that point we realised why earlier in the day everyone was giving us a look between concern and scorn when we were the only ones walking UP the trail compared to the hundreds walking back down. But it was worth it to see the lake at sunset without all the crowds.
