Hi Germaniacs,
a friend of mine is panicking about Saturday, 24.09.2022 and I´m kinda annoyed.
She recently told me a few days ago about somethings may gonna happen on the 24th of September, but wasn´t quite specific about it and even tho it sound interesting….i guess some adhd kicked in and I forgot to ask deeper about it. So today I got a voicemail of her going nuts about Saturday and that I should rush to the supermarket, by everything possible, get cash from the bank, fill up empty bottles at home with tab water and some more prep stuff. No clear context behind it. But she categorized it at 09/11-size!!!?
For my understanding, this began with a speech of Friedrich Merz, CDU, about the invasion in Ukraine, where he mentionend “24th of September” but meant 24th of February, when the invasion actually started. A quick google search told me, that there a several conspiracy theories about this date and his speech. Most of them on Telegram. My concerns are, that she is fallen down a rabbit hole into believing, it is true something will happen. But I mean, this is the internet. We love creepy stories and conspiracies. But really tell me if I am missing any point and the universe collapse in a few hours. I wasn´t into asking her about this topic anymore and why she´s going crazy because… I mean…blah blah blah.
Let me know what you know about the 24th September and if my friend is crazy or we should prepare for the worst?
