Hi everyone, I thought that to get into Germany for bachelors, I’d need to do Studienkolleg course because I’m an International Advanced Levels student and it says on [daad.de](https://daad.de) that I qualify for subject restricted admission. I thought that means I’d have to do Studienkolleg to get into University.
But I just searched about it again on reddit, and apparently, subject restricted admission means that I can only do a degree which is related to my previous educational background, meaning, it should be related to the A level Subjects I took. I got a little too excited that I won’t potientially have to do Studienkolleg, but I don’t want to be too excited in case I get disappointed 🙂
Please say it’s all true, that I can start bachelors directly without studienkolleg. I want to do mechanical engineering, and the subjects I have taken in A levels are the engineering subjects, namely Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I just wanted to confirm if what I heard was right or not.
