What are these bright spots? Flying from Trondheim to Bodo

  1. Greenhouses. You use the light to manipulate the growth. Funfact: you can do the same with salmon, making them ready for the ocean earlier than they would naturally.

  2. everyone is lying and saying this is greenhouses to hide the fact we are running out of places to store all the glowstone we mine in the nether(drammen)

  3. congrats! you found the Orc Factories of Isengard!

There’s some metal foundries and such which is why they’re so bright.

  4. As others are pointing out, these are industrial greenhouses, more specifically in a municipality called Frosta, which you’ll often fly over not long after takeoff from the Trondheim airport. I have a view in their direction from our house, and on cloudy nights you’d think there was a large city over there.

EDIT: Actually, now that I look closer, one of the spots is a football field with a running track around it.

  5. The electrical price is so low from Trondheim and further north, so the locals like to make their houses “glow”, so you can see them from space. It’s rather common.

  6. Radioactive wheatfields..designed to both grow through the harshes winters, and build radioactive immunity in norwegian people in case Pappa Putin desides to press a button

  7. This is Frosta, i think 🧐
A peninsula located on the other side of Trondheimsfjord. They have a lot of greenhouses that light up the sky. I can see a bright sky in the night

  8. They are greenhouses. I live in the Netherlands in a area surrounded by them. On a cloudy night you can read a book outside cause the lights bouncing back.
