It’s barbaric to shoot berries, and makes an ungodly mess. Why not pick them instead?
I’m a lazy forager myself. I leave berries to birds and pick mushrooms instead, easier for my back and knees. Berries I need I get from various bushes from my garden🙂
Blueberry hunting, eh.
That’s no job for the weak or easily scarred. Those blueberries can get really nasty and if you don’t hit them with your first shot one might have to hunt down the angry, wounded blueberry for days. But then again, a full-grown blueberry provides nourishment for a family for days.
Also. To be very precise those are actually ”Bilberries”. Blueberries are whiteish inside and Bilberries are purple.
Most of em pictures dont look like blueberries. In the first one it does. They are the blue ones. Hope that helps 🙂
