Personally, I went to vaccination centre with my passport and a doctor (on spot) gave me a BIS number. Was able to get my vaccine. Only issue was veryfing the vaccine… To which I went back to vaccination centre and a doctor emailed my covidpass to my personal email (had to show passport and share my bis number).
Could an immoral person (e.g. a certain mayor) go there, claim to be a sans papier and effectively get a third booster shot?
If you want to avoid some fool gets 20 shots of vaccin and then dies from it there is a need to register the vaccin itself.
However, in Liege everyone is welcome for a shot, with or without appointment, Belgian or stranger. I can not find where they say you do not have to show who you are, this last bit could be fake news. A link someone?
We must remember that this vaccination campaign has everything to do with protecting the community, rather than protecting one person. If someone gets a vaccin without having rights to it, it won’t threaten the community. People without getting a vaccin (registered or not)are the real danger in this covid times.
Of Course, some believe this whole covid business is a hoax, but that is another thread then. I choose to believe covid is for real, since sadly enough i have seen and experienced some proof of it, long before there was talking of a vaccin.
