I love this … able to press 2 buttons. Because I love pressing buttons
Why? Top button for lights, bottom for sounds.
Wouldn’t surprise me if these buttons don’t have any effect.
Lower one is for blind people, doesn’t make the light go greener faster (i think) there should also be some sort yellow indented representation of the crossing on the side of the bottom aparatus
Upper on is for quicker green
Edit: achterkant Berchemstation?
Edit : spelling
the lower device points to the upper device and signals that a parachute is coming down. So you better run away quickly. On the upper device, which can only be used by men in suits, the user must touch a handle while he turns his back to the traffic and while there is a (hidden?) crosswalk in a strange place. That is probably where the parachute will land when he presses the top button. Traffic in Antwerp is always a bit exciting
If you keep pushing those buttons long enough, the light will turn green. #provemewrong
If they put sensors in the pavement (just as for cars) we don’t need these buttons.
On Bolivarplaats there are poles with three buttons.

There’s only 1 that I know of in Antwerp that actually requires you to press it or it will not turn green, and that’s [this one](https://goo.gl/maps/r8a4ArioGdqyfPy88) where the Lamorinierestraat intersects with the Mercatorstraat. The rest just seem to activate the wonky timer…
You hate blind people?
Why? Top one is to make lights turn, the bottom so people with bad vision know when to cross.
People just don’t know how to use it properly.
Berchem station! Tot binnenkort misschien eens he 😜😉
Kan je een kipburger van Banu meenemen voor mij aub?

That’s at Berchem station, right?
Why are these buttons there in the first place? This technology is so outdated.
Why is everyone acting like it’s obviously for visually impaired people? There is literally nothing about it clearly indicating that’s the case if you didn’t knew already…
It’s so confusing but only Belgians can understand the logic (or not). Downvotes inc
