I came across these paintings at an estate sale here in the United States. The previous owners are no longer living and I am unable to find any information on the artist.
Any help is greatly appreciated! I can send more pictures if needed.
It’s really hard to identify the hand writing on those documents (pictures 6 and 7), that are permits to export artwork from SSRS and were issued on the basis of artwork being gifts to USA citizen- its in russian and seems to be done by some dreadful clerk who hated everything about his/her life .

7/7 the name of person (married woman) who gifted those paintings is: Ona Belikovienė, Antano (daughter of). Painting was named “Zamok Gedimino” (“Gediminas’s castle”- one of the main landmarks in Vilnius) it was valued 80 soviet rubles
6/7. Seems to be issued to Valentina Kanapkutė, Kazio(daughter of), named “Peizaž” (a landscape in russian) valued 110 soviet rubles.
The signed painting says- M. Znamer, name sounds jewish, could it be Moses Znaimer? Just my guess.
Just a guess from the name tag on the paintings: There was a famous painter Česlovas Znamerovskis (polish Czeslaw Znamierowski) the paintings might be done by his son Miroslaw, but it is just a guess.
More likely it is Mečislovas Znamerovskis, who signs his paintings M. Znamier and a year tag.
I think /u/Shiz0freakaz is absolutely on point there. If you look closely, the ‘m’ is a bit cramped and then there’s an ‘i’ without a dot next to it. This has to be M. Znamier or Mečislovas Znamerovskis. You can find another example of his work on page 19 here: menorinka.lt/uploads/pdf/katalogas-54-web.pdf
