**If you’re a tattoo artist, or have some experience in the field, I specifically need your input.**

***Questions:***

**Is it possible to find a job as a resident tattoo artist, while not being fluent in German?**

**Is the process of job searching the same as in other countries? (emails with CV and portfolio).**

**Is there some kind of ***”license”*** I have to acquire, to practice my profession?**

***Information about myself:***

So I am an artist, I have one year of experience in two tattoo studios and I’ve spent time as an apprentice.

I speak Greek, English and Russian fluently while having a B1 certificate in German.

I am a citizen of the EU, grew up in Greece, but also spent 3 years of my teens in Germany.

I like to think that I’m familiar with the German way of life and culture.

***Further general information:***

Idk if it’s important but I’m interested in western Germany, around **Köln**. (that’s where I have family members that can help me transition as smoothly as possible)

For reference, you can look up my work on Instagram, [**@lexsapla**](https://instagram.com/lexsapla?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)

Any type of input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance, have a great Friday.

***PS:*** The reason of the search for job abroad, is because of the bad practices in Greek tattoo circles, where only those with a friend or family member in the industry, manage to get a stable residents spot. (that’s what I’ve personally experienced at least)
