Hey, dear Czechs …

  1. “Havent met discrimination yet”

Brace yourself, today should be the “brainless” pro-russian cringefest protest on Vaclavské náměstí if I am not mistaken.

  2. Do you plan to live here after study or return to Ukraine after war will end? What do you study? And the most important question: What’s your favourite beer?

  3. Have fun and enjoy your stay! Also, I think you don’t need to stress with the “assimilation” too much. We understand your situation and we don’t want to “convert” Ukrainians into Czechs. Feel free to be a proud Ukrainian here! As long as you don’t cause any trouble, it’s all good.

  4. Since you plan on learning the language and be a productive member of society, i wish you the best of luck in your future.

Nechť tvé pivo zůstane studené a tvůj řízek křupavý

  5. I wish you all the best and i hope you will like our country. If you don’t want to hear any discrimination, you should not mention your nationality in front of older people. (60+ mainly) as they tend to be “Flastenci”

  6. Oh, good for you! I was discriminated few times even as a Czech person I’ve always been. Good luck to your journey of learning such a compicated yet cool language and I hope you will have good time living here. Much love ❤️

  7. Welcome to Czech republic my friend, beautiful country with not much crime, lived here my whole life and wouldn’t emigrate nowhere, I feel greatful, that you are learning our language, which is considered to be one of the hardest in the world, and our history, which is full of conflicts, like the hussite wars (husitské války) and all around our history, you should absolutely try our beer (pivo), our country has the biggest beer consuming rate out of the whole world. Cheers mate
