Whenever I visit Switzerland I eat one of these, so good
coop big silser gipfel isch sowieso besser
Coop machts eh besser.
Sils is small, so it still looks Big there.
(Do you mean 1/3 smaller than it used to be or 1/3 of the original size?)
Shrinkflation
The really big one I know are the 85G from coop
But they gave you 2 Franc with it, that’s nice!
Not quantity, it’s quality.
Yeah, definitely seems like it got smaller
Cold weather.
Shrinkflation
You have grown since then, that’s why. /s
They keep telling us we’re doing great. Inflation is officially just about 3%. But to me that feels too low, my weekly groceries have grown 5-10% at least and I don’t even buy meat.
I‘ll dare saying they lie. It’s not only Gipfeli. Many things became more expensive or have less content for the same price.
It was stressed ok!?! it happens and it has great personality anyway!!!
What it is? Like a mutant croissant or something?
isnt that just a normal silsergipfeli?
Try in Aldi
So the Gipfel in this picture is about 6 Zweifränkler long. That makes approx. 14 cm.
If it was 3x as big before that would be more than 40 cm.
I REALLY doubt that 40 cm Gipfel commonly exist and if they do then I really want to know where.
Late stage capitalism
Shrinkflation!
Where ist the Coop one for comparison?
it’s either a big silsergipfeli or a small silsergipfel
Another impressive example of shrinkflation.
“it’s because of thé war in Ukraina”
“it’s because of the war in Ukraina”
Can’t have the “5er und s weggli” but “2 und gipfeli” is possible.
That’s like with McDonald’s ketchup packs. Raise price and make them smaller.
thats what she said
You get ‘dr zweier und s weggli’ nice!
I mean, this honestly looks massive. Probably has a great personality too
Only 33% less for same price. It’s called inflation migros style.
Reducing content , weight in same old shape wrapping at familiar price. 🤑🤑
“Aktion” is the other stale trick whenever they hike prices. Marketing is having lots of fun, by creating artificial frenzies, while observing hapless folks gobbling up stuff.

Not big – go back to store, ask “where big?”
