I have no idea where to post this so I am posting it here in the hope that someone can repost it to somewhere appropriate. Me and my gf was hiking in the Tatras today and came across a dog that was obviously lost and distressed. We were unable to get close enough to catch it. It was running up and down the steep slope next to the trail near Veľká Svistovka. We waited around for about 40min in the hope that it’s owner would show up, but we never saw anyone. After a while it started following another couple before it suddenly started climbing up the slope again and we lost sight of it. The dog was male and looked like a Jack Russell or a Jack Russel mix. White with a brown spot on its back and a red collar.
Eeeh maybe its owner is injured on top of the slope?
I never really understood why tf do people take their dogs to mountains/national parks.
Heees fiiinee🙃
He is hunting czechs
Probably owners who think small dog doesn’t need to be on leash.
What the dog doin’? 😳
I’m amused that you find a dog in the mountains and your first instinct is to post it on Reddit instead of contacting the local authorities.
