Controversial maybe but I don’t like putting milk near spuds. My mash would never look like this and I don’t particularly like that consistency anyway.
Tonight I had mashed potato with a piece of cod and some mushy peas. Plenty of butter and salt and pepper in the mash. Glass of milk. Simple but effective.

Oooh, nice one, OP. Personally, that steak is a bit too red for my tastes but everything else looks delish. I had an epic Chicken Caesar salad in my local washed down with a few pints of Smithwicks. Good eatin’, good drinkin’.
