I bought a drawing of the first photo from an old man artist in Zakopane. The house is covered in snow in the drawing, and the name of the house is written beneath it. I have it on my nightstand.
Such a beautiful style
The villa and this style is gorgeous but Zakopane (at least to me) is one of the most overrated places you could visit. Crowded, expensive, commercialized af and the town as a whole is actually not pretty in my opinion. I remember it being a crazy mix of all architecture styles you could get in Poland and not maintained well at all.
I haven’t been since 2010-ish so I really hope it changed for the better, but I’ve been avoiding it since then. Other than the stunning views, it didn’t have much to offer. So I decided I can get beautiful views elsewhere 🙂
