The closed Capel Street. That’s all you hippies are getting
The amount of traffic in the Phoenix park today alone should be proof that something needs tobe done to reduce the amount of cars in the city. I can only imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth if more traffic calming was suggested.
I was in Peru earlier this year and on Sundays they close one of the main roads through the city until midday.
People are encouraged to get out and exercise and there were thousands of people walking, running cycling and skating.
It was absolutely amazing and gave a real sense of community, I would love something similar here.
They are, but people will complain about any anti-car measures.
No…they’ve no say when it comes to Paris.
Congestion charges are probably the best we can hope for. Only policy changes that happen in this country are taxes.
They closed college green for a day or two in August, or am I remembering that wrong?
This is a miniscule part of Paris, tbf.
Paris has a functioning public transport alternative
