Belgian tax money, gloriously well spend!

  1. Typical belgian logic: hazard? Put a sign next to it and the problem is solved.

Same with polluting; you shouldnt pollute, but if you pay a tax for it, it’s okay

  2. Comes down to a choice: what is cheaper? Repair the road or put up a sign the road is bad. If you make the right decision often enough, you don’t have to put up the sign anymore….

  3. Still not on the level of Portugal, where they have “road in bad condition” and “road in very bad condition”. The second one posted on road with a 50 cm raise in the asphalt, that would definitely launch you to the moon if taken at the max speed limit of that road.

  4. On the other hand, people would complain if there *wasn’t* a sign

They don’t cost a lot to make and will avoid lost of lawsuit costs of some idiot decides to sue whatever commune this is because his car got wrecked

  5. Yea those poles dont get a cement bottom on their own, that pole has been there a long time and they are now excavating the road to possibly work on it?
